Paceville
A stone’s throw away from St Julians, Paceville and nearby Bay Street may be regarded as the undisputed entertainment capitals of Malta. Paceville is a small enclave, within walking distance from St. Julians and a haven for, clubs, restaurants bars and other water holes. It is the area where the young and the young-at-heart congregate after dark during the week and especially at weekends to relax with friends over a drink or a meal. Most of Paceville is a pedestrian zone and no cars are allowed to cross the few streets that Paceville is made of. Entertainment does not follow any set pattern but is spread out among various nationalities. So are the Restaurants which cater for European, Asian, Maltese and other cuisines. The atmosphere is jolly all the year round and fun is the order of the day. Paceville is also a souvenir hunter’s dream with several shops catering for the hundreds of tourists that descend on the area each week.
